Hey there!
My name is Paul, I am a hobbyist beekeeper and an overall enthusiast when it comes to learning something new. I could call beekeeping as my family hobby – my grandparents kept bees, my parents keep bees and I have been keeping bees for a couple of years now.
During this time I have been in many different situations. From looking for beekeeping literature, starting my own very first hive, encountering problems in the process, dealing with mites, harvesting first honey to actually selling my harvested honey and helping others to start their own beehives.
Because of this, I have met many great people and learned a ton of things. And the more I learn about bees, the more they fascinate me. And I am sure you will be amazed by how much joy and new experiences beekeeping can bring to your life.
Since starting beekeeping, I have been thinking a lot of trying out writing so that is how beehour.com was born. My goal is to build the best beekeeping blog out there so it would answer all of the questions that a beginner beekeeper might have!
